It was an absolute pleasure learning with Junko sensei. She is clearly knowledgeable and dedicated, and her passion for teaching really came through in every lesson. She created a warm, comfortable, and fun environment that made it easy to stay engaged โ€” even on tougher days, she always brought a positive mood that lifted the whole class.

What I appreciated most was how she encouraged us to challenge ourselves and stay active in our learning, all while making sure we never felt overwhelmed. She welcomed all our questions, whether they were directly related to the lesson or about Japanese culture more broadly, and always answered them with insight and care.

Iโ€™m truly grateful to have had her as a teacher!

Junko Sensei is fun, engaging, and passionate about teaching.

She encourages you to talk about your real-life experiences and interests, which has helped me move beyond basic textbook conversations and express my own thoughts in Japanese. All the while, she attentively corrects my mistakes to prevent them from turning into bad habits. Her ability to explain ideas in English makes learning faster and more efficient, providing much-needed clarity where concepts are abstract or ambiguous.

I highly recommend Junko Sensei as your teacher.

Iโ€˜ve studied with junko sensei. She is such an expert Japanese instructor who is highly skillful in teaching the language not only the knowledge of the language but also the methodologies of making it practical and fun. In the current Japanese teaching environment, there are not many classes that are practical enough but junko sensei are able to deliver a class and methodology that are fully practical and easier for foreigners to actually be able to speak the language, where I see hope.

Junko is a fantastic teacher and I have really enjoyed her classes. She makes the setting feel comfortable and relaxed while also ensuring that a lot of learning happens. Her explanations are clear and it's okay to make mistakes. I feel motivated to work hard in studying Japanese and I really recommend her classes!

One can learn kanji, grammar, words. But to learn the culture, the why you should use one or another word (even if it seems that there is no difference) you need to rely on Junko. Not the usual sensei, a great one!

Junko is an excellent teacher that brings a fun attitude to learning. Junko is great at explaining things in a way that really makes sense. Junko has a great understanding of English and is able to answer deeper more complex questions about how vocab and grammar should be used in real world situations, rather than just the examples from a textbook. If you want to start learning Japanese you can use in your daily life, I recommend Junko
